A Saturday lit up by the warm June sun and the air filled with scents of the most delicious food. That was the eighth Apetit Picnic held at the Grébovka park in Vinohrady.
We don’t know of anyone who hasn’t heard of the Apetit magazine. And after this year’s experience at the Apetit Picnic we hope that there are just as few people who would let this exciting gastronomic festival pass them by. Because! Pop-up restaurants, stands bursting with treats, culinary specialities, local vendors, workshops, a cooking show and a hearty portion of delicious fun. That’s simply the Apetit Picnic!
There’s enough for everyone – the large, the small, the traditionalists and the connoisseurs of unconventional flavours. Quality is always guaranteed, as all vendors are selected exclusively by the editors at Apetit magazine. And we definitely liked what we ate…
The atmosphere was friendly and all vendors were very welcoming and kind. There were a lot of people there, but the Grébovka park is so large that beyond the busy paths there was plenty of room for playing around with children.
At the Apetit Picnic, you get to try everything that you’ve heard of on your gastro-wanders. We, for example, finally got to try out the Lunar ice-cream. And as you can see, it was a big hit.
Perhaps the only downside of the Apetit Picnic is that you just can’t get around to trying everything. And we really did try. So for us it’s pretty clear. We will come back next year and bring reinforcements.
